Meet the experienced and friendly doctor and staff who make Hazel Eye Center a proud provider of vision care products and services in West Warwick.


Dr. Brittany Hazelton

Dr. Brittany Hazelton is the owner and founder of Hazel Eye Center.

Originally from East Greenwich, Rhode Island, she graduated from the Boston College honors program in 2015 with a B.S. in Biology. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 2018, as a member of the second cohort of the accelerated scholar’s program. Dr. Hazelton practiced in the Bronx, New York, for three years before returning to Rhode Island in 2021.

Dr. Hazelton’s clinical rotations and training specialized in:

  • Ocular disease, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and dry eye syndrome
  • Pediatrics and vision therapy
  • Specialty contact lens fitting
  • Private practice and practice management

In her free time, Dr. Hazelton enjoys painting, skiing, and exploring all the great restaurants around Providence, RI, where she and her husband live.


Diana Feliz

Diana Feliz is our dedicated clinical assistant.

She has three years of experience in the medical field, including work as a personal care assistant, pharmacy technician, and optometric technician.

Diana is currently returning to school for her nursing degree and hopes to become a nurse practitioner.
