Meet our Doctors & Staff
Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Hazel Eye Center a proud provider of vision care products and services in Rhode Island.
A Rhode Islander at heart, Dr. Brittany grew up in East Greenwich and zoomed through Boston College's honors program, earning a B.S. in Biology in 2015. She then leveled up with her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 2018, graduating from their accelerated scholar's program.
After a few exciting years practicing in the Bronx, she couldn't resist coming back home to Rhode Island in 2021 to open her own eye-loving haven.
Dr. Brittany's superpowers include:
- Tackling eye diseases like glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and dry eye.
- Helping kids see the world clearly (vision therapy + pediatrics).
- Crafting the perfect specialty contact lens fit.
- Making private practice run like a well-oiled machine.
She's also an active member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD)-because even superheroes like to keep learning!
When she's off the clock, Dr. Brittany can be found painting, skiing down slopes, or sampling the yummiest restaurants in Providence with her husband. Basically, she's living her best Rhode Island life… and keeping eyes happy while she's at it.
We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Bryanna Caron to our practice this September!
Dr. Caron brings a distinguished background in full-scope primary eye care and a deep commitment to serving the Rhode Island community. A graduate of the MCPHS School of Optometry, her academic journey was marked by multiple honors, including the Clinical Excellence in Primary Care Award and the MCPHS Ophthalmic Dispensing Award.
Highly active in her field, Dr. Caron has served on the Board of Directors for the Rhode Island Optometric Association since 2021. She is also deeply passionate about community outreach, serving as a Clinical Director for Special Olympics Rhode Island, where she helps provide comprehensive vision care to athletes across the state.
Whether providing routine eye exams or managing complex visual needs, Dr. Caron is dedicated to delivering compassionate, top-tier care to patients of all ages. She looks forward to meeting you and your family!
